Meccano armchair on casters

A Meccano armchair demonstrating casters to allow the chair to move in any direction. A Meccano club secretaries challenge to use four of your chosen least useful Meccano part prompted this. The part is part No. 102, a single bent strip. I tried to use this on my fruit machine model an apart for one use as a stop for a rotating part, failed to make any real use of it. La construction du palais du Quirinal a commencé à la fin du 16ème siècle, et ne fut achevée que 200 ans plus tard. Jusqu'en 1870, le palais était une des résidences habituelles du pape, puisque c'est lui qui gouvernait toute la région. Puis, il fut la résidence du roi d'Italie jusqu'à 1944. Aujourd'hui, c'est le siège de la Présidence de la République italienne. Steorn Replication Rotor Construction

Simple rotor construction for Steorn motor replication platform. Wheel is a medium size plastic castor wheel from the hardware shop. Four Neo magnets were super glued onto it at even spaces. The small bearing in this video is a thrust bearing from a skate board wheel. A piece of threaded rod, nuts bolts, rubber feet and melamine for the base. Simple and easy to make and a very solid rotor with reasonable low friction on the bearing. [ voir sur Youtube.com ]
