A photo electric sensor with a laser.

I plan to use this construction to detect a drop of water falling through the sensor line. It will then be lit up to fool the spectator into believing that the drop of water stays stationary at one point in the air. I use a laser because IR light would pass right through transparent bodies. A laser however will be strayed well enough for such an application. [ voir sur Youtube.com ]

Uhaul Truck Sales: Toterhome

Inspired by the Uhaul Krawler Hauler (also available to view in our videos), this 26' International was converted into a jeep hauling toterhome all equipped with utility cabinets, a lit workspace with electrical outlets installed, a generator, an air conditioning unit as well as a rest area to lay down in the upper deck of the truck. There's also a 16 gallon water tank for plumbing purposes for a utility sink and also serve a shower and dish basin. The plan is for a 12" raised secion for the mini-kitchen and sitting area. This will allow for storage compartments and make better use of the 8' tall box. Polar Lights USS Enterprise NCC-1701 1/350 scale model build #1

I decided to document the construction of my Polar Lights 1/350 scale Enterprise. This model will be fully lit with a super-detailed shuttle bay and other well detailed rooms. I have been away from scale modeling for about 10 years now, but my business is slow, it's winter and there is nothing to do. I decided to convert a corner of my wife's studio into a modeling aera and replaced a bunch of dried-up paint and lost tools. I hope it turns out as well as other people's Youtube builds! I am planning on about 4-6 months to build this thing, not that it will really take me that long, but I plan to work on it only in my spare time.
